This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course with 8 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 16 hours or 2 days in person learning. The online section is emailed to you and available on Canvas approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.
Registration Information
This is an open enrollment course and will be held at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville Colorado. It doesn't get more "Colorado" than Leadville. This is the place to forget the complications of city life and embrace open space and miles of opportunity. There are lots of recreation opportunities close by including camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, and hot springs!
