WFA-ITC + TSO
Course Info:
This course is designed for high school teachers who will be instructing 16 or 24-hour Wilderness First Aid courses in their classrooms.
This course includes the 4-hour Teaching Students Outdoors (TSO) workshop, provided by Good Natured Learning. The TSO workshop guides classroom teachers in activating nearby nature for outdoor classrooms.
The WFA-ITC will consist of 30 hours of online self-paced work, followed by 30 hours in the classroom. Information regarding the online course work and the in-person class will be emailed approximately one month before the start of the in-person course.
This course is designated for K-12 classroom teachers.
Pre-requisites: This course requires participants to hold a current medical certification at least one level above WFA (WFR, EMR, EMT, etc.).
