Course Info:

This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder course with 30 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 50 hours or 5 days in person. The online section is available on Canvas® approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations, and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.  

This is a DMM class taking place at University of Alaska Southeast in Juneau, AK over their spring break.  The course is open to anyone, not just limited to UA students.  Lodging for this course is not provided, so check out AirBnB or local hotels for the best options.

**Students enrolled in an Outdoor Studies degree program need the Wilderness First Responder for program completion for any ODS track. ODS program students register for Desert Mountain Medicine's Juneau Wilderness First Responder on the DMM site.
