Course Info

This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course with 8 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 16 hours or 2 days in person learning. The online section is emailed to you and available on Canvas approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.  

This class will be held completely outdoors at Horsethief Group Site A about 30 minutes from Moab. See the logistic document in your student dashboard for detailed information.

Camping is not included.  There is plenty of dispersed camping on Horsethief Mesa.
