Course Info
This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course with 8 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 16 hours or 2 days in person learning. The online section is emailed to you and available on Canvas approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.
Registration Information
This is an open enrollment course held at the Lake County Airport in Leadville Colorado. This is North America's highest airport at an elevation of 9,934 ft! The location is close to the town of Leadville and boasts some amazing fall recreation opportunities like camping, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, and hot springs!
