Course Info
This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder course with 30 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 50 hours or 5 days in person. The online section is available on Canvas approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the in-person, practical field section.
This course will take place 100% outdoors at Indian Creek Falls Group Site, a group campground located in Bears Ears National Monument. Lodging (camping) is included in the course cost. Check-in starts at 12:00 PM on the 1st day of class and check-out is at 11:30 AM on the last day of class.
Class starts at 1:00 PM on the 1st day and ends at 11:00 AM on the last day of class.
