Course Info
This course is designed for Conservation Corps partners who will be instructing 16 or 24-hour Wilderness First Aid courses for their respective corps organization.
The WFA-ITC will consist of 30 hours of online self-paced work, followed by 30 hours in the classroom. Information regarding the online course work and the in-person class will be emailed approximately one month before the start of the in-person course.
Pre-requisites: This course requires participants to hold a current medical certification at least one level above WFA (WFR, EMR, EMT, etc.).
Important Dates:
Feburary 20, 2024 - Enrollment deadline
January 20, 2024 - Canvas online course opens
February 27-29, 2024 - In-person ITC in Albuquerque, NM
Class will meet from 8am - 5pm the first two days, and will wrap up by 3pm on the third day.
This course will be held in Albuquerque at Conservation Legacy's Ancestral Lands office at the Valle de Oro Wildlife Refuge.
