You have recovered your companion from an avalanche, so now what? Do you have the skills to treat the traumatic injuries that may have resulted? What do you do for a non responsive patient?
This 2-day course is an introduction to wilderness medicine for winter backcountry users. The WFA covers basic life support (CPR) as well as treatments for traumatic injuries and environmental illnesses common with winter recreation.
