Continuing Education Credits Info
Desert Mountain Medicine offers Colorado State EMS office and NREMT approved continuing education (CE) credits to students receiving a DMM WFR, WRC, WEMR, WEMS-R, or WEMS-Upgrade certification.
Consult individual course pages for the amount of credits available for each course type. Students seeking CE credits must be a currently certified EMR, EMT, AEMT, or paramedic. CE credits are
guaranteed valid for Colorado and NREMT certificate holders. EMS certification holders from other states may be able to apply DMM CE credits towards recertification; consult your state's CE policies.
To claim CE credits, check the box to claim Colorado State or NREMT continuing education credits during registration. After completing registration, a DMM staff member will reach out to you via the email address you used to register for the course. Please note this email comes from a person and is not an auto-email, so it may take a few days or weeks, depending on how soon your course starts, for us to get in touch with you. Remember to check your spam folder. We will request you provide us with your NREMT EMS ID# or state certification #. After successful course completion, you will receive a pre-filled CE form to sign indicating the amount of credits completed by topic. It is the students' responsibility to submit this form to your state EMS office or NREMT to claim CE credit.
