This course is located upstairs in the South Dining Hall.

Please park at the bottom of the hill and follow the signs to the South Dining Hall.

Bring a notebook, pen, ensolite pad/thermarest for scenarios, water bottle, sunglasses and clothes appropriate for mountain weather.

80- Hour Hybrid WFR Format: This Hybrid WFR has 30 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 50 hours or 5 days in person. The online opens April 3rd, 2019 on CANVAS and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by April 28th, 2019. What to bring: • Appropriate clothing for the weather since we will be spending about 50% of our class time outside. Please bring warm layers, rain gear and a puffy jacket. • Ensolite pad/crazy creek to sit and lay on during scenarios. • Sunglasses • Small backpack • Headlamp • Wrist watch or time piece • Note book and pens Course Location: The course will be held in the South Dining Hall on the Colorado Outward Bound School (COBS) campus located at: 1930 County rd. 300 Leadville, CO 80461 You may park you vehicle in the dirt lot at the base of the steep road up to campus and walk to class. Camping and bunkhouse accommodations are available, but must be reserved before the course. Lunch may also be purchased via check or cash - reserve lunches by April 23rd.
