This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course with 8 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 16 hours or 2 days in person. The online section is emailed to you and available on Canvas approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.
This is a DMM class taking place at University of Alaska Southeast in Juneau, AK over their spring break. The course is open to anyone, not just limited to UA students. Lodging and food for this course are not provided, so check out AirBnB or local hotels for the best options.
