Course Info:
This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course (WRC) with 8 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 16 hours or 2 days in person. The online section is emailed to you and available on Canvas approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.
The in-person section will be held at Canyonlands Field Institute's Professor Valley Field Camp. Camping is incuded and food and cooking is the course participant's responsibility.
