Course Info:
This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder course with 30 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 50 hours or 5 days in person. The online section is available on CANVAS® approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.
This course will take place 100% outdoors at Gold Bar Group Site A, a group campground located on the Colorado River 15 miles NW of Moab, Utah off of Potash road (HWY 279). Lodging (camping) is included in the course cost. Check-in starts at 12:00 PM on October 24th and check-out is at 12:00 PM on October 29th. Click here for more information about the campground.
