Course Info:
This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder course with 30 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 50 hours or 5 days in person. The online section is available on CANVAS® approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.
This course will take place 100% outdoors at a campground located in Bears Ears National Monument. Lodging (camping) is included in the course cost. Check-in starts at 12:00 PM on September 18th and check-out is at 11:00 AM on September 23rd.
Class starts at 1:00 PM on Septermber 18th and ends at 11:30 AM on September 23rd.
