This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course with 8 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 16 hours or 2 days in person. The online section is avaialble on CANVAS approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.
This course will take place 100% outdoors at Gold Bar Group Site A, a group campground located on the Colorado River 15 miles NW of Moab, Utah off of Potash road (HWY 279). Check-in starts at 6:30 PM on March 11th and check-out is at 11:30 AM on March 14th. Click here for more information about the campground.
Class starts at 8:00 AM on March 12th and ends at 6:00 PM on March 13th.
